The following rules MUST be followed 1 day (24 hours) prior to your appointment.
No Alcohol / drugs (narcotics)
No Caffeine inc. energy drinks, coffee, tea, pre workout stimulants
No Exercise
No Aspirin, Ibuprofen – read the ingredients in your pain killers to check before taking
Avoid spices that can thin the blood e.g. cinnamon, turmeric, chilli
Your face must be clean of fake tan
*If there are any pimples/sores where the procedure is to be performed, we must be notified immediately as your appointment will postponed for a future date once blemishes have cleared. If you have a mole in your brow, please note that we cannot tattoo overtop of this
Light exfoliation can be done a day prior to cosmetic tattooing to remove any dry skin for better implantation of pigment
The following rules MUST be followed & the below must be avoided 7 days prior to your appointment
Before ceasing the use of any medications, if prescribed from your GP, please contact them prior to discuss.
Fish oil supplements
Vitamin E
All blood thinners (let us know if you are on any medications, you are unsure about)
Facials/peels
Facial waxing/ Brow tinting can be done 2 weeks prior
The following rules MUST be followed & the below must be avoided 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Please discontinue use of all face products/creams containing retinol & glycolic acid
Heavy Sun exposure to the face. (A sunburnt face will increase blood flow & will in turn increase bleeding during your treatment which will cause the cosmetic tattoo to not retain well
Solarium tanning
Botox / any cosmetic injectables around brows
The following rules MUST be followed & the below must be avoided 4-6 weeks prior to your appointment.
Brow Growth Serums. This can increase bleeding & sensitivity
If you are having a lip procedure done and have a history of Cold Sores or Herpes Simplex, please contact your doctor for relevant prescription to ensure no outbreaks occur. Cold sores or blisters will affect the healing process. Previous clients have purchased a tablet called Valtrex. This can be purchased over the counter at any local chemist and should start being taken 2 weeks prior to your appointment & 2 weeks after. Alongside these tablets I also would advise to get L-lysine tablets and start to take at least 1 week prior and continue 2 weeks after treatment to help keep any cold sores at bay. If you have any concerns, please consult your local GP for advice.
